This project is a reminder of the changes that have taken place in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, which has lasted for more than seven years. I have collected photos from life before the war, showing people's carefree lives, their daily activities and pleasures, as well as photos from the war period, showing life in war zones and the destruction of cities. The project consists of collages that compare life before the war and during the war. These photos help see the difference between the carefree past and the brutal reality of today. I collected materials for more than five years, traveling to different cities of Ukraine and staying in touch with my subjects. Photographs from the war period show the destruction of cities, transport and infrastructure, as well as the effects of war on people. They show how the war changed people's lives, their fear, anxiety and insecurity. I hope that this project will help people understand the changes that have taken place in Ukraine in recent years and inspire them to be attentive to the changes in their lives. I call for the preservation of peace and well-being in my country and for the preservation of the memory of the past, which will never return.
